What's with the name 'Two Seaside Babes'? TOP
Customers and fans ask me all of the time where the name "Two Seaside Babes" came from. When I was pregnant, my midwife would refer to my girls (clearly I have two) as babes, since fetus was obviously so impersonal. It's something that has pretty well stuck. Since then, I often use it as a term of endearment...my girls, beau, friends, family, customers, and fans. Indeed, if you are reading this, you are a babe. As for the "Seaside", I had been studying Aquatic Biology when I opened our shop and had an immense love of the Pacific Northwest at the time. So that's in a nutshell...the story behind the name Two Seaside Babes.

Yes, we gladly accept custom requests. We greatly enjoy making one-of-a-kind pieces and we know that we can give them the quality and prices they seek. Up to two weeks is needed for custom orders.

Why is your turn-around time 1 week or greater? TOP
All of our items are handmade by me. We are not mass-producing our hats and each one is crocheted specifically for a particular customer. We take the utmost of time and care in crocheting each hat with only the highest quality materials.
Do you wholesale or drop ship? TOP
Yes, we wholesale to brick and mortar boutiques. If you are a brick and mortar boutique, use the "Contact Us" page to obtain our PDF wholesale catalog filled with our sizes, colors, styles, and terms. We DO NOT wholesale to online retail sites. Additionally, we do not drop ship.
Are you willing to sell your items on consignment? TOP

Do you submit your items for review on blogs? TOP
No, we do not submit our products for review on ANY personal or business blog. We only submit items to reputable and well-establish businesses that have a long-standing relationship with customers and the media.
Do you sell any of the patterns for your hats? TOP
No, we do not sell the patterns for ANY hats in our store. All of our patterns are copyrighted. Additionally, all designs, photos, and logos are copyrighted. They may not be used without permission. Legal action will be taken against any individual that infringes upon those copyrights.
